I am currently working as a MarLIN Research Assistant, which involves applying the Marine Evidence-based Sensitivity Assessment (MarESA) approach to conduct sensitivity assessments of marine habitats and biotopes found in Great Britain and Ireland.

I graduated from the University of Plymouth (UoP) with a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology and Oceanography where my research involved analysing pregnancy rates of minke whales relative to environmental change. I also did my MRes at UoP where I investigated the potential allelopathic interactions between corals and sponges on a reef in French Polynesia. Between my degrees I worked for a short time as a Marine Environmental Consultant, bridging the gap between science and policy.

I have a passion for marine research and conservation, and I am very exited to be working as a Research Assistant here at the MBA!
