I am a graduate in Marine Biology, working at the MBA as a Plankton Analyst identifying taxa in both net-caught and Continuous Plankton Recorder samples. I’m passionate about taxonomy, particularly in less charismatic, understudied invertebrate and protist groups. I have research experience in groups such as the Foraminifera, Polychaeta and Amphipoda, with interest in a number of others .
Working at the MBA allows me to develop my skills in a wide range of marine taxa, and to find new groups that capture my interest.
Outside of work I enjoy photography, typically of a range of both terrestrial and marine species local to my area.
