I support the Science Support Officer and the and the Marine Biological Association research community by assisting with the behind the scenes work that keeps projects organised and funded. This includes sourcing new grant opportunities, drafting budgets and assisting with the background processes that underpin research funding at the MBA.

Before joining the MBA I worked as a school administrator for the Link Academy Trust, a group of 23 primary schools across Devon. My roles included managing complex statutory tasks, providing administrative support leadership and teaching staff, training all new administrative employees and offering essential office cover across the trust. My aim is to streamline funding-related administration so our scientists can focus on their research.
