Guy is the Editor of The Marine Biologist magazine and manages the MBA's digital content.
After working with the Tidal Water Quality group at the Environment Agency, Guy came to work at the MBA in 2002. He has a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (University of London) and Applied Marine Science (MSc) from Plymouth University. His Masters thesis looked at ocean colour and sea surface temperature, and the timing of phytoplankton blooms in the western English Channel.
Guy has extensive experience in public outreach, including managing marine community outreach projects. He writes articles, runs outreach events gives talks to the public.
