EndNote Web

EndNote Web is a web based version of EndNote which we would not recommend using as a replacement for (desktop) EndNote 9 or X as it is less versatile and designed more for undergraduates than researchers. Although it has the functions which you would expect from an EndNote program, it is more basic than the desktop versions and also has a limited storage capacity. Click here for a comparison between EndNote and EndNote Web.

From EndNote Web you can connect to a range of library catalogues and databases, including WoS and ASFA. However:

Connections are slow and often fail.

Searches are run through a standard EndNote search page which does not offer the same level of options as the databases.

It does not connect to Libweb, the NMBL databse.

References taken from some catalogues require editing.

You can only access databases to which the NMBL subscribes and other catalogues which are not password controlled.

EndNote Web can be accessed at http://www.endnoteweb.com/ . Registration is required.
