PMSP

The MBA is a founding member of The Plymouth Marine Science Partnership (PMSP).

The Plymouth Marine Sciences Partnership (PMSP), created in 1999, represents one of the largest clusters of expertise in marine sciences, engineering, education and technology in Europe. The Partnership collectively employs around 500 professional staff and has a turnover of approximately £40M per annum. The member organisations are;

  • The Diving Diseases Research Centre (DDRC)
  • The Marine Biological Association of the UK (MBA)
  • The National Marine Aquarium
  • Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML)
  • The Sir Alister Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science (SAHFOS)
  • The University of Plymouth Marine Institute (UoPMI)
  • The Royal Navy’s Flag Officer Sea Training, Hydrography, Meteorology, Oceanography (FOST HM) – Associate member
  • Blue Environment – Associate member
