Details:

Report upon experiments on the hearing powers of sea lions under water and on the possibility of training these animals as sub-marine trackers.

Note: Secret report prepared at the request of the Admiralty Board of Invention and Research.
Summary: Sea lions from a circus and from the Zoological Society were observed in swimming baths in Glasgow and London, and in Bala Lake, with sea trials being undertaken in the Solent, observed by a U.S. Navy Surgeon.
