Working with experts from the Natural History Museum, the MBA Data Team has produced rules for the NBN Record Cleaner software to help validate and verify records of crabs around the UK.

The rules for around 70 true crab species include the expected distribution and difficulty of identification for those species featured in the 1986 North-East Atlantic Crab atlas by Paul Clark.
